“The Brain” Finally Arrives At Liverpool

 

Jurgen Klopp’s assistant manager Zelko Buvac has arrived at Liverpool and will immediately take part in training on Wednesday.

 

Buvac, who is known as ‘The Brain’ due to his tactical knowledge and has previously been described by Klopp as a “master of every form of training”, will take his first session at Melwood at 4pm after his work permit was granted.
Klopp and Buvac have known each other since 1992 when they were team-mates at Mainz.



After their playing career, Klopp appointed Buvac as his assistant when he took over at Mainz in 2001 and they have been together ever since.
