is over 500 years old is celebrated amidst pomp and pageantry.

The event which has become a tourist attraction begins with
prayers to Allah for the successful completion of the Ramadan (fasting) period.
It is followed by a parade of the Emir and his entourage on horses, accompanied
by traditional musicians.
With various local musical instruments such as the Kakaaki,
Algaita, Ganga, they make melodic sounds those from the north can relate with.
