CAN: Fulani Herdsmen Are Armed Bandits With Ferocious Proclivities To National Security
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has described Fulani herdsmen in the southern part of the country as mercenaries and armed bandits, with the proclivities to cause grave danger to national peace and security.This was contained in a communiqué issued by its General Secretary, Rev. Musa Asake on Sunday, November 8, at the end of its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting in Abuja.

Asake said: “CAN has observed with keen interest the ongoing national discussion over establishment of grazing reserves for Fulani herdsmen in all parts of the country. This proposal, if implemented portends very grave danger to our national peace and security.”
