Super Eagles Striker, Chinedu Obasi Given Sunderland Trial

Sunderland have handed a trial to former Schalke 04 and Super Eagles forward Chinedu Obasi.
The 29-year-old Nigeria international was released by the Bundesliga club in the summer after making just 10 League first-team starts in three years.
Obasi has been carrying an injury since becoming a free agent but Sam Allardyce says he is going to keep assessing him over the next week before making any crucial decision.
