FIFA Investigating Manchester City’s Mangala Transfer Deal
FIFA have confirmed to that they are investigating the transfer of Eliaquim Mangala and whether Porto breached third-party ownership rules.
Investment company Doyen Sports paid just under £2m in 2011 for a share of the future transfer value of Mangala, and received around £10.6m of the £32m paid by Manchester City in 2014.
The Premier League side are not under any investigation, but if Porto are found guilty they could be fined or placed under a transfer embargo.
