Are you a fan of e-cigarettes? Well this news is for you since study has shown that those sticks are not as safe as the advertisers make them seem.
A twenty-one-year-old man, Evan Spahlinger, had his mouth blown up on Monday when the e-cig he was taking blew up on him. He was covered in soot i.e battery powder after it blew up in his face. He is presently in a medically induced coma.

 

His sister, Ema Richardson, had this to say after finding Evan passed out on the floor, ‘’I was laying in bed with my two-year-old when I heard an explosion, then I started smelling burning, smoke and fire. I found my brother not breathing, with his whole face burned and his neck burned and trying to throw up a little or maybe he was gasping for air so I called 911’’.

Reports from the Miami hospital where he is being treated says that he has internal and external burns, direct damage to his lungs due to the impact of the explosion, plus, he also swallowed the mouth-piece of the e-cig and it exploded again inside his throat.



According to Richardson, the only thing Evan said was “I’m done. That’s it”, he’ll never smoke cigarettes again in his life.
The explosion was likely caused by the lithium battery which is present in e-cigarettes.
E-cigarettes are very dangerous and more lethal than the conventional cigarettes. Recent discovery by Wink News revealed other cases of e-cigarette explosion in the mouth of several other victims.



The risk and danger in e-cigarettes far outweighs its advertising value as a better option to quit smoking. It is packed with battery powder. You wouldn’t lick battery powder ie soot if your life depended on it cos you are aware it would kill you for sure so why would you smoke it just because it’s wrapped in a fancy package and called a fancy name.
