Standup9ja: Buratai, Fowler, Ice Prince others slated for
Peace Achievers Awards
The event which is slated to hold on the 23 September in
Abuja will also honour South Africa’s high commissioner to Nigeria Louis Mnguni,
petroleum minister of state Ibe Kachikwu, federal legislator Dozie Nwankwo,
Daar Communications founder Raymond Dokpesi.
Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Yusufu Buratai, Managing
Director, Federal Inland Revenue Service, Babatunde Fowler and popular musician
Ice Prince have been selected to receive the Peace Achievers Award.
The event which is slated to hold on the 23 September in

Daar Communications founder Raymond Dokpesi.
Managing Director of the organization Kingsley Amafibe told
Standup9ja that the annual awards was to recognise individuals and organizations
in Nigeria and Africa who have demonstrated strong commitment to serving their
community.
He noted that the Peace Achievers Awards also seeks to
encourage leaders and organizations in Nigeria and Africa to continue to be
force of position change, to inspire thoughtful dialogue about the issues
facing our communities and the world.
According to him, "If we work together, we can build a
global partnership for peace. We recognize excellent individuals and corporate
organizations that have created opportunities for the common man."
Also to be recipient's of the award Kenneth Emejuru,
Founder, Kenneth Emejuru Foundation, Mike Ezuruonye, Barrister Dan Iwuanyawu ,
Former Chairman, Labour Party, Paul Orhii, Former, DG NAFDAC amongst other
persons who have contributed to the promotion of peace in their communities.
Also to receive the awards are Founder, The Elizabeth
Foundation, Mrs. Angel O. Adelami, First Rotech Group of Companies, Chief
Austin Oguejiofor, , CEO, Dahksn Investment Limited, Bola Asha, White Oak
