Belgium Coach Tells Marouane Fellaini To Quit Manchester United
Belgium coach Marc Wilmots has advised Marouane Fellaini to leave Manchester United in January.
Fellaini
was a key part of Belgium’s successful Euro 2016 qualification campaign
but he has not found opportunities as forthcoming at Old Trafford.
The 28-year-old has started just one Premier League match this season and Wilmots has urged him to find a new challenge in January.
“A player who does not play for his club is annoying for a coach,” declared the Belgium boss, speaking to Le Soir.
“Fellaini could play to support the attack, as the No.6. He has very good technique, very good ability to track back and recover. Maybe he will try to find a new challenge in January, if it is possible.”
