Real Madrid Manager, Rafa Benitez Talks Transfers
Rafa Benitez admits it would be difficult to improve his Real Madrid squad in the forthcoming winter transfer window.
Benitez’s side have had an excellent start to the season – they are unbeaten in all competitions – and are well placed to win their first league title since 2012.
Real dipped into the transfer market last January to sign Brazilian midfielder Lucas Silva, but Benitez is unsure if they will do the same again when the window opens on Jan 1.
Speaking to Radio Nacional de Espana, he said: “We have an excellent squad. We will see if we have to reinforce, but it is difficult to improve upon what we have, above all because those that there are play for other big teams.”
