A day after Nigeria celebrated its independence, 2 bomb blasts occurred in the nation’s capital, Abuja.
According to the updates from the coordinator of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Operations in Abuja, Ishaya Chonoko, the multiple bomb blasts in Nyanya and Kuje, killed 15 persons and injured 41.

According to the updates from the coordinator of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Operations in Abuja, Ishaya Chonoko, the multiple bomb blasts in Nyanya and Kuje, killed 15 persons and injured 41.
“Following a coordinated rescue operation at scene of multiple explosions in both Nyaya and Kuje, which are satellite towns of FCT Abuja so far (15) persons lost their lives and (41) injured were evacuated to Nyaya , Asokoro General hospitals and National Hospital Abuja,” the agency said via Twitter.
